Abstract
The time and sequence of teeth eruption are important in clinical dentistry such as pedodontics, orthodontics and oral pathology as well as in forensic dentistry to estimate the chronological age of children with unknown birth records. There have been many studies on sequence and eruption dates around the world but there is a little information about the time and sequence of eruption of primary and permanent teeth in Egypt .Accordingly, there is a need for the construction of reliable reference table on teeth eruption for this population. In this study the eruption dates of both primary and permanent teeth as well as the sequence of eruption were investigated among a group of children in El- Gharbia Province. Also bilateral and maxillo-mandibular differences in the eruption of teeth were studied.
