Abstract
This study was conducted on 40 healthy adult subjects; divided into four equal groups to evaluate four different methods of preparing PRP; three double spin method, and a single spin method.
from each subject, 200cc venous blood were withdrawn into plastic bags containing ACD as anticoagulant., and then undergone Cbc and platelet count, remaining blood was divided into four 40cc fractions subjected to each protocol of prp preparation.
Plasma yielded was subjected to light microscopic examination, assessment of platelet function (adp aggregation test), scanning electron microscope to show ultrastructural integrity of platelets.
