Abstract The goal of the reflection seismic experiment is to obtain the most clearly defined, high-resolution image of the subsurface geology, free of contaminating noise. This goal can be achieved by acquiring seismic surveys with dense and even sampling in both time and space. In recent years, several High Density 3D surveys (HD3D), both land and marine, have provided substantial improvements over the existing data. The HD3D acquisition will help in the final migrated image in processing stage and improve Signal to Noise ratio (S/N) .So both of the acquisition and processing are complemented each other to output high resolution image of the subsurface geology. HD3D can solve most of the subsurface Image problems when selecting the optimum parameters for both of acquisition and processing. |
