Abstract
--The present study investigated the use of He-Ne laser in alleviating the damaging effects of ultraviolet A+B radiation on zea mays plants. Zea mays grains were irradiated with one shot of low intensity He-Ne laser for 5 different doses (1,5,10,60 and 300 seconds).part of these pretreated plants were subjected to 2 different enhanced UV radiation doses (3 and 6 h/day UV A+B) or a combination of the He-Ne laser and UV radiation.
