Abstract
This study about The Quest for Identity in the Poetry of Eavan Boland and Derek Walcott Introduction with the aim of the study Methodology and related Studies Resuscitating the Self through Verse, Nations Reconstructed : Alternative histories in the Poetry of Evan Boland and Derek Walcott.
-To conclude this study attempts to establish links between oth poets, showing how despite their completely different backgrounds, their dilemma of identity is a common feature to their poetry. Although some studies were done tacking the identity cringe for each poet individually. there is scarcely any study combining both of them.
