Abstract

Endometrial cancer is the fourth most frequent cancer in women and now the most common gynecological cancer in many developed countries
Cervical cancer is the second most common malignancy in women worldwide, and it remains a leading cause of cancer-related death for women in developing countries
Ovarian carcinoma remains the leading cause of gynecological cancer-related deaths in the United States, and it is estimated to comprise 6% of all cancer-related deaths. Approximately 75% of women have advanced disease at the time of diagnosis with a 5-year survival of only 29% in those with metastases.
DWI is one of the evolving functional MR imaging. When added and interpreted together with the conventional MR imaging, the specificity and accuracy of conventional MR imaging findings have shown to be increased.
