Abstract The negative impact of epilepsy on learni ng process is well-establ ished; leading to scholastic u nderachievement, and social mal adjustment. The aim of this work is to shed l ight on the nat ure of the cognitive deficits and be’1avioral disorders in epileptic patients wit h nonnal l.Q. To achieve this ai1n, 140 chi ldren with partial epilepsy and 50 control ch i l dren \Vith age frr1111 8 to 16 years were subjected- to a battery of l aboratory, neu rophysiological, rad iological and psycho1netric assessments.
