Abstract This work has btiP.n carried out to investigate the role of different factors affecting the surface and calalytic properties of Ff>20,-Cr 03 / Al203 mi ed oxide catalysts. These catalysts are comm on ly used in higb temperatu re stea m-gas ntQnufa cture of nitrogenous fertilizers. Th fllciM’S investigated Include FC20J anti CrzOJ conl nts, mod e of preparation 1111d Activalion, caltination cond ition s, doping with Li10 and 0 an d ion izing rad iatio n . The re3Ults showed that Cr20, incnASes mark edly the surface area and the catalyst durabil ty. )’ 03 on lhc other hand , acts as the most catalylically lldive constituents. Catalytic ae:livicy was found to increase tUarkedly by subjecting the J talyst toy-irradiAtion as well a s by doping it with Li10 or K20. |
