This study deals with Egyptian attitudes towards Turkish politics 1970-1991. The researcher has chosen era (1970-1991) because it is the most important and most accurate historical eras not only in Egypt and Turkey, but also in the region (the Middle East), and because it was witness of change in the power balance of the world. The importance of this subject originated from its dealing with the powers of the most important regional powers in the Middle East, Egypt and Turkey are those which are the two things they can manage the region if they unite their positions on the vital issues in the region, as the nature of the era eventful reflected directly or indirectly on the nature of the positions of Egypt towards Turkish politics. Therefore, dedicating of this era by this study has its objective justifications and make the thesis topic a vital theme in the nature of the positions of Egypt towards Turkey. The study came up with many results, namely• Cairo was wary of attempts of Ankara to investment the alliances policy to impose its hegemony on the Arab region in order to be an agent for the West in the Middle East. Iran-Iraq war contributed, at least partially, to the return of Egypt to the Arab world, unlike Turkey, which has taken a neutral stance toward the two-state. While Egypt has succeeded in breaking the deadlock in its relations with the Arab countries.
