To identify the problem of the study : 1-Is there a relation between communication skills and marital adjustment for a sample of couples? 2-Is there a relation between communication skills and quality of life for a sample of couples? 3-Is there adifferences between couples(males, femals) in terms of communication skills? 4-Is there adifferences between couples (males, femals) in terms of marital adjustment? 5- Is there adifferences between couples (males, femals) in terms of quality of life? The study sample: The study included (140) couples(70 wifes-70 husband), between the ages of (20 - 58). Statistical techniques: (a)Mathematical means.(b)Standard deviance.(c)Pearson correlation coefficient (d)T.test.(e)Spss. Presentation and explanation of the results of the study: -1-There is astatistically significant realation between communication skills and marital adjustment for a sample of couples. 2- There is astatistically significant realation between communication skills and quality of life for a sample of couples. 3- There is astatistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females in terms of communication skills. 4- There is astatistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females in terms of marital adjustment. 5- There is astatistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females in terms of quality of life. Key Words(not more Than10): Chapter one:Astatement of the problem,its importance as well as study sample tools,terms ,a presentation of defintions as well as accompanying psychological vaiables. Chapter II the theoretical framework of the study show has included the concept of communication skills, the concept of marital adjustment, the concept of quality of life. Chapter Three previous studies conducted of couples on communication skills and marital adjustment and quality of life. Chapter four: Statement of the validation of the study tools. Chapter five :Displaying of the study results, interpretation and discussing it. Finally : appendix that contain bibliography with arabic references and foreign references.
