Abstract This study was carried out at a private farm in Met Yazed village, Elsanta district, Algharbia Governorate, Egypt during the two successive seasons of 2012 and 2013. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of cultivar (fuseau and El-Balady) and some growth stimulants on yield, tuber quality and storability of Jerusaliam artichoke. To achieve this aim, the study included of seventreatments as follows:- 1- Chitosan at 2 cm/L. 2- Seaweed-extract at 2 gm/L. 3- Humic acid at 2 gm/L. 4- Potassium at 2gm/L. 5- Yeast foliar at 5gm/L. 6- Amino acid 1gm/L. All used materials were used as foliar spray.These treatments were arranged in a split plot design with three replicates in this study.The two cultivar (fuseau and El-Balady) occupied the main plots, while the sub ones were devoted to growth stimulants spray. All treatments were randomly distributed into 5 rides. Each ride was 60cm wide and 5m long (plot area was15m2). |
