Abstract The term probiotic refers to live microorganisms that survive passage through the gastroinal tract and have multiple health benefits effects on the host probiotics bacteria which have been the focus of much scientific and commerical interest is due to arrang of possible health effects these bacteria probiotic are marketed as capuls, powders, enriched yogurts, yogurt-like products and milks possible health effects include immune system stimulation, cholesterol lowing and prevention of cancer recurrence. Examples of probiotics are lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. This investigation amied to study the effect of supplemented probiotic diets with sesds as high caloric food on the healthy status of normal rats. Thrity (Sprague - Dawley) white male albino rats, weighing (103 ±5 g), were used in this study. All rats were fed on standard diet for a week before the beginning of the experiment as an adaption period. The rats were divided into (6) groups of (5) rats for each group with similar total weight. All rats were fed on basal diet plus (lupin-chickpea-soyprotien) and probiotics for 6 weeks except one group fed on all this seeds diet without. |
