Abstract
Cathodic Protection (CP) is one of the most important techniques used in industry in order to control the corrosion of buried metal surfaces , specially petrochemical and gas pipelines. Routine measurements of CP levels are required to ensure that the system operate in a normal condition , remote monitoring is an efficient technique to keep measuring these levels and automates the data collection process and provides operators with a proactive surveillance system. It also helps improving the used cathodic protection system in order to keep the system works.
