Abstract from the previous study we could conclude that the combination between Umbilical artery Doppler Indices and Umbilical artery PH, Non-stress test (NST) as Investigatory tools to predict the neonatal Outcome (fetal weight & Apgar score) for cases complicated by Intra-Uterin Growth Restrection (IUGR) was statistically significant While changes in umbilical artery Doppler Indices for patients with pre-eclampsia (PET) not reach the level of significance and more data needed to have a documented conclusion. Recommendations: 1- We recommend to have bigger studies in patients with PET to reach the level of significance. 2- We recommend to follow up fetuses trancferance for the IUGR and PET patients to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). 3- We recommend to include other patients for the high risk group for more evaluation to the sensitivity of umbilical artery Doppler, umbilical artery PH, Non stress test. 4- We recommend to include more Doppler parameters for middle cerebral, uterin arteries to get more accurate data about the usefulness of Doppler in predicting fetal outcome 5- We recommend to use the NST as an antenatal screening test for patients with placental insufficiency syndrome . |
