Abstract Construction projects in Yemen are subject to elevated risk levels due to their complex and dynamic environments. This led to the emergence of uncertainty atmosphere. Consequently, projects have deteriorated in terms of time and cost. The main problem encountered by the parties of construction projects in Yemen, as a developing country, as indicated by the study, are the lack of detailed and documented previous data about the risk factors associated with the construction projects , as well as lack of expertise in risk analysis and risk management. Another major problem facing construction projects in Yemen is the absence of a simple Risk Allocation Model that suits the nature of the Yemeni construction industry. Therefore, the hypothesis of this study is essentially based on the necessity of tool that can be used throughout the construction projects in Yemen, in order to effectively establish efficient allocation of the most critical risk factors. |
