Abstract Survey and identification studies were carried out at Sharkia and Ismailia Governorates during the period extended from March 2012 to February 2013 on some horticultural crops (citrus, mango, mulberry and grapevines) to survey the most dominant scale insects and mealybugs and their associated fungi. Eight species of scale insects and mealybugs were surveyed and nineteen species of fungi associated with them were isolated. Isaria fumosorosea was recorded as the most important entomopathogenic fungi during this study. The effect of physical factors, nutritional factors, essential elements, leaf fertilizers, degrading enzymes activities and laboratory efficacy of Isaria fumosorosea were studied. |
