Abstract The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of different implant impression trays used to transfer the intra-oral position of angulated implant fixtures to the working cast. Four heat cured acrylic resin models representing mandibular endcntulous arch with four angulated implants placed in the esthartic zone were used for this study. abutments were screwed to the implant analogs, Two master casts were had with single abutment (A, B) the other and two master castshad 2 abutments (C, D) . Abutment in master A was inclined labially, while in master cast B was inclined mesially while the others were with multiple abutments. master cast C had two abutments inclined labially and master cast D had two abutments inclined in mesiodistal directiion . All of them have the same degree of angulation 15º. Reference points were indented on the surface of the four models. Lingually to each abutment in model A , B and in midway and lingually of the two abutments in model C, D . Also notches were made on the superior edges of the abutments. A total of forty impressions were made to the four acrylic models using different impression techniques. These techniques include. |
