Abstract
In many experiments a need arises to measure short time intervals with a good resolution and accuracy such as mean life time measurements of excited states several different nuclear radiation detectors are used in timing experiments where scintillation counters with organic scintillators and fast photo multipliers are still superior to produce the best time resolution as well as to be used in a variety of different applications.
