Abstract This study was conducted in farm Menoufia University College of Agriculture and Horticulture Department lab same college during the summer seasons 31/ 1 /2012 for the first season, and data 23/ 1/2013 the second season potato tubers which harvested were stored to test the sprouting percentage on 15/10/2012 / 2013, the first season and the date of 10/10/2013 / 2014 second season included two experiments: the first aimed study the effect of fertilization by potassium and calcium on vegetative growth, yield and its components and storability Diamont variety assigned in experiment included 7 transacts fertilization as follows: Potassium rates were 50, 100 and 150 kg K2O / fed. The three transactions calcium i.e. 0,100 and 200 ppm as . Use potassium sulfate as a source of potassium (50% potassium oxide), which added on installments two the first during the preparation of the soil and the second after 30 days from planting. Calcium chelate has been used as a source of calcium, foliar application of calcium were added after 50,60 and 70 days from sowing. In both seasons, the experiment carried out using a split plot design once split-plot design in three replications potassium fertilization levels in the main plots while calcium levels in the sub plots of 14 m2, while the main plot area of about 42 m2. |
