Abstract
Fungal infections are leading causes of morbidity and mortality in cancer patients. these infections carry a formidable management challenges, in that diagnosis is often difficult to make at early stage therefore appropriate treatment may be delayed. an increasing incidence of invasive fungal infection is observed in immunocompromised patients especially with leukemias.
