Abstract

The study was divided into the following: Introduction, four chapters and concluded with the results.
The topic dealt with importance, benefits of hunting as well as the best times and places of hunting. It also dealt with hunting throughout various studied Islamic eras, tools and methods of hunting, the most famous hunting pastures and finally the views of individual and group hunting , the science councils as a means of spending the leisure time in addition to the councils of preaching and narratives. Finally, it dealt with the councils of literature and poetry throughout the eras of the study that included the prominent poets and their debates and discussions .The councils of drink and rapture, the abundance of singers, composers, dancers and their status as well as the most famous musical instruments, various games, the most famous of which included polo, chess, stick-fighting, wrestling, shadow play, flying pigeons, horse racing and other games.
