Abstract
The current study was applied on 30 Barki ewes of 1-3years old age at the farm of Animal Reproduction Research Institute (ARRI) .The aim of the study was evaluation of the ability of using the technology of laparoscope in some breeding biotechnology such as artificial insemination and ovum pick-up in two different surgical layouts. The results showed significant increase in the conception when the position was changed to standing position 70% comparing to 50% in the dorsal recumbent position, also the operation of ovum pick up was relatively easier in the standing position. The discussed result showed that by changing layout of the animal to standing position so, the genitalia at the normal anatomical position reduced the stress and pain. Finally using of the laparoscope is promising and improves the reproduction process.
