Land Uses Types at Zilten City :
Land is the raw material for any developmental process, or, planning, and
the Land Uses Strategy is considered the most important axe in the
developmental process.
This Study attempts to deal with Land Uses Types at the City of Zliten in
the light of the Socio-Economic Political circumstances of population, that
which had its effect in the past and at present.
The Study includes five Chapters, and an Introduction and Conclusion as
the Following:
The introduction include: the Significance of the subject, why of its
Choice and Method followed by the student, moreover, the
previous studies.
First Chapter:
The first chapter is dealing with Geographical Factors, and their effects on
the Land Uses Types at the City of Zliten.
These above- mentioned factors were divided in a natural factors, and
their effects on the Land Uses Types, as the position and its importance for
the development and increasing of land uses at the City of Zliten, features of
land surface, stratigraphy, Geological structure, and its role for the city
development, the climate with its various elements, the soil, and its different
types, water Resources of the City of Zliten.
Human Factors: dealing with the study of population as the population
Growth at Zliten City, population density distribution , demographic
structure as the Age Structure and qualitative structure, Economic -
Educational structure .

Second Chapter:
The second Chapter is dealing with the development of Land Uses at the
City of Zliten during the period (from - pre1950 to1980), whereas, it was
studied the Land uses Mode during the Ottman
period (pre-1950), as well as the Land Uses mode at the City of Zliten
during the period ( from 1950- 1965),also, Land Uses at the City of Zliten
during the period( from 1966-1980).
Third Chapter :
The third chapter is dealing with the study of Land Uses at the City of
Zliten according to the Polish Company” Poul service’s plan(1980-20 00) –
as well as , dealing with the study of :
First : Land Uses mode at the City of Zliten(1980).
Second : Land Uses mode at the City of Zliten(2000).
Fourth Chapter:
The fourth chapter is dealing with the study of Land Uses Mode at the
City of Zliten ,and it was divided in Housing, Educational ,healthy ,
administrative, religious, cultural , commercial, industrial uses,
Transportation uses, Public Services, moreover the recent developmental
uses in 2012.
Fifth Chapter:
The fifth chapter is dealing with the future of Land Uses Mode at the City
of Zliten , as it was studied the future consideration of the population of the
City, as well as, axes of future developing for Land Uses mode, moreover,
the study of evaluation of the Land Uses plan, as well the future plan for
Land Uses at the City.
Conclusion:
The conclusion includes the results, and recommendations reached in this
Study.
