Abstract Phoenix dactylifera L.is very useful. The Pollen of this plant is source of bioactive components such as phytosterols, lipids, fatty acids, flavonoids and polyphenols. The non polar light petroleum ether and DEE extract of the pollen was analyzed by GC-MS and was found to consist mainly from fatty acids, hydrocarbons and phytosterols. Saturated fatty acids include stearic and Palmitic acid was the most abundant fatty acid, 38.52% of total saponifiable and unsaturated fatty Acids contain linoleic, oleic acids and Hydnocarpic acid was themost abundant fatty acid 44.23%, while α-sitosterol was the most prevalent phytosterol, 14.40% of total unsaponifiable lipid fraction. The polar methanolic extract was analysed by several techniques spectrpscopic analysis. The results of ninephenolic compounds in pollen including caffeic acid, gallic acid as a major results and also flavonoids compounds catchin, quercetin as major result. This was studied the impact of date palm pollen as antibacterial activities on six species of pathogenic bacteria(Escherichia Coli, Klebsiella, Staphylococcus Epidermidis, Bacillus Cereus, Micrococcus Luteus, and Staphylococcus Aureus),antifungal activity of (Candida Albicans and Aspergillus Nigar) by measuring the zone of inhibition in ml. And influence as cytotoxic activity on human Cell lines (HELA-1(Cervical carcinoma cell line), MCF-7(breast carcinoma cell line)and CACO(intestinal carcinoma cell line)].Extracts obtained from petroleum ether and DEE 18.5 µg / ml. While MCF7 (breast carcinoma cell line) were extracts DEE= 11.5 µg / ml and extract of methanolic extract 15.1 µg / ml. At the final resultsware the nearest CACO (intestinal carcinoma cell line) for three extracts13.03µg / ml, 14.8 µg / ml, 16.6 µg / ml receptivity. In conclusion , palm pollen grains are a good economic nutritional source can be human food supplements |
