Abstract This study was initiated for anumber of reasons. First was the recognition of the increasing increasing incidence of charonic illness in the nation in the past few years. Second was the increasing number of chronically ill patients who remain at home with their families instaad of having long periods of hospitaliation third was the face that proffional attention has more often than not been given to the patient ignoring the effect of the illnesson the family members. |
