Abstract
The present study was performed to investigate the effect of kisspeptin-54 on pituitary testicular axis in male albino rats. The present work was carried on (30) adult male albino rats. The animals were categorized into three groups, 10 rats each. (Group I): control group The animals of this group injected subcutaneously by a single dose of 100μl 0.9% saline. (Group II): Kisspeptin group The animals of this group were injected subcutaneously by a single dose of 5 nmol (0.098 mg/kg) of kisspeptin-54. (Group III): Cetrorelix+Kisspeptin group: The animals of this group were injected subcutaneously by a single dose of 200 nmol (0.95 mg/kg) of cetrorelix followed 30 minutes later by the same single dose of kisspeptin as in group II.
