Abstract
INTHODUCTION
Three types of male sexual dysfunction are known
which are,irnpotence, premature ejaculation and
eJaculatory incompetence. For most men, part of their
self-concept and
linked to their
feelings
ability to
and to perform adequately.

The sexual cycle is consisted of the excitement
phase and orgasmic phase. For sexual dysfunction to
occur an inhibitory factor will interfer with this
cycle.
As for impotence, the factors whether psychological
or organic inhibite the excitement phase. It was highly
believed that 90% or more of impotence cases were
psychogenic ln nature, with few cases of organic nature.
But now this belief has changed as impotence lS
mostly due organic causes ,also it may be psychologic
and it may be due to both organic and psychologic causes.
Methods of investigation have now developed that
lead to proper diagnosis of the cause of impotence.
Also the technices of treatment achleved good
progress and results.
