Abstract

14027 broiler house. The total poultry wastes lS calculated
to form about 1.0 ~illion ~on. On the other hand, 2.5 & 3.0
~illion head of buffalo and cattle produce about 36 ~illio~
ton of wastesjyear. Part of t~ese ~astes is used as a fertllizer.
The other part can be accu~ulated and po!:ute the su~-
rounding environnent. The accu~ulation of wastes can pollu~e
air with different smill, as well soil with sipage containing
Nitrites, which can reach the artesian and under ground
water. The artisan and under ground ~ater are utilized kno~
in different parts of the country. Nitrate level 1n the
drinking wate~ Day af!ec~ the e!ficie~cy of the bird i~ cc~-
verting carotene into vit. A. Khen nitrite reach certain
level it can develop poisonous syndro~es and nay cause death.
Accu~ulation of these wastes can cause microbiological, pollution.

poor disposal of ani~al and poultry wastes.
On the other hand, these wastes na~erial spe~ially ~hose
of poultry nay contain significant anou~~ of n~t~ien~s. At
the sane line ~here is a real wije gape bet~een a~i~al ~ealth
requirements and the actual natior.al feed resources.
More ea~lier studies were carried o~t to test the ~css1-
bility of using sone treated ~astes in r~~inant rations. Different
treatment ~ere tested to produce a product free pa~hogens.
