Abstract
Prosper meniere in 1861 described the clinical vinner ear disorder that today bears his name He discribed in details the reprated attacks of vertigo with nausea & vomiting over along period of time, but which left the patient in good health between the attacks, except for low tone fluctuating sensorineural hearing loss and persistant tinnitus.
