Abstract
Selenium (Se) ~s the nutritionally important
trace element it have a high biological activity,
implemented through association with enzymes,
hormones or vitamins. She was recognized as an
important trace element because it is both
essential and toxic within a relatively narrow
concentration range. Se affects all components
of the immune system, i. e. the development and
expression of nonspecific response, humoral
responses and cell-mediated responses.
