Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the biological effect of two different designs of versacryl clasps in
bilateral distal extensions cases, in this study. Seven partially edentulous patients were selected from the
outpatient clinic of the prosthodontic Department, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine. Cairo University, having
bilateral distal extension edentulous areas (Kennedy class 1) in the mandibular arch with the first premolar as the last standing teeth on the edentulous side.
