Abstract

Message is located in the ٤٢١ pages and consists of six chapters preceded
by an introduction and conclusion, followed by results and include
transportation problems, recommendations and a list of sources and
references, Theses and supplements, and includes the message table , ٨٣ and
١٠٧ form of maps and charts.
The study in the first chapter road transport network in Qena
Governorate, and the chapter includes three key elements of the development
of road transport network in the province of Qena, the classification of roads
and geographical distribution of the centers of the province according to their
importance and the nature and breadth, according to the volume of traffic
thereon, and the first chapter deals with the railway preservation of in nature
and its importance and size of traffic in the centers for the province.
It is clear from this chapter, the development length of paved roads in the
province of Qena of ٣١٤ km in ١٩٥١ to about ٢٢٥٤ km in ٢٠٠٩. Roads have
been classified according to the importance of roads (major roads - secondary
roads and internal), and depending on the nature of roads (paved roads - dirt
roads) and classified by the size of the movement and by widening the roads.
Finally chapter deals with Network Rail to maintain through his study (of the
nature of the railway - and the importance of the railway - and the volume of
traffic by rail).
It is clear that the railways are classified to the lines of head length of
١٣٥ km and lines of specialized length ٥٦٥ km, lines Aldecovel of the sugar
factories to maintain, and the number of passenger rail in Qena, ١٫١١٤ million
passengers in ٢٠٠٧, with total Income about ٣٢،٧٥٣،٤٨٥ million pounds in the
same year
The second chapter deals with geographical factors affecting the road
transport in Qena. Which are divided into natural factors such as geographic
location, climate, topography and geological composition of the surface in the
province. There are human factors such as population, urban planning,
irrigation and drainage and government policy and economic activity such as
agriculture and industrial activity, tourism and commercial activity
Illustrated by examining the impact of natural factors that there is a
mutual influence between all the natural factors, or some of them and the ways
and means of transport and road traffic and try to overcome obstacles in order
to extend roads and operation of road transport.
The human factor and what he is doing aspects of economic activity affects
the road transport and to the worker’s normal in terms of beating some of the
difficulties faced by the rights and role in the emergence of a network of land
transport, density and volume of traffic it, is also affected by the exploitation ofnatural and human resources with knives and abundance of road transport
network, and influence exchange between economic activity and road
transport, where D transport networks and direct response to the need to link
areas of economic production to each other on the one hand, and linking the
various markets of discharge, whether internal or external on the other hand
Devoted Chapter III to study the quantitative analysis of the ways wild in
Qena Governorate, and the student analyze the networks of different ways to
maintain and monitor the characteristics and measure the intensity and that
through the study of turning the network and analyze the decade urban by
clarifying the degree of centrality and access them, This chapter addresses the
interdependence of transport routes and land measuring intensity of through
the study of road density for the population, area and for the area cultivated
and crop area and their impact on economic development reached by the study
area.
This chapter reveals that the railway lines of straighter roads (major and
regional), but the Access between the nodes of urban network of paved roads
easier with greater access railway, and that the network of paved roads is
characterized by the interdependence of a stronger, more effective and efficient
compared to rail, on the other hand high density of paved roads on the density
of the railway in Qena, for each of the inhabited area and the space and the
cultivated crop, and this indicates that Del reflection of economic development
reached by the study area .
The fourth chapter was concerned with examining the role of road
transport in agricultural development in Qena Governorate, by addressing the
importance of agricultural activity and distribution of agricultural land and
the distribution of areas of field crop production in Qena Governorate, is also
interested in examining the role of road transport in agricultural development,
through the study of the role of road transport in the transfer seeds and its role
in the transfer of chemical fertilizers and its role in the marketing of crops and
its role in livestock and reclamation of new land, because land transport is an
essential component of agricultural production.
This chapter highlights the almost total control of road transport and its
impact on economic development to maintain, especially agricultural
development and livestock through the service of agricultural production from
the transfer of seeds and fertilizers and marketing of crops and reclamation
projects. Therefore, total area of agricultural conservation reins ٢٦٠،٢١٧٫٥
acres, which is not commensurate with the population increase its production
of the province. And that there is a remarkable development in the cultivated
areas of different crops, especially sugar cane crop and yield of wheat and
maize crop; because it is a major and important crops.
The fifth chapter was concerned with studying the road transport
network and the potential for industrial development, tourism, and came with
four elements dealt with: (the geographical distribution of industrial plants -
and the role of road transport in industrial development to maintain - and thegeographical distribution of tourist areas in the study area - and the role of
transport in tourism development, conservation)
It is clear from this chapter that the means of land transportation and
private roads account for a greater role in the transfer of inputs and outputs of
the industry in the province without such means of transport, are found in
conservative industries with ancient roots are in the manufacture of grinding
grain and food industry, textile industry, whereas the maintenance industries
modern Growing industry, including aluminum, marble, and the
pharmaceutical industry, and engineering and chemical industries. There are
also two industrial zones to maintain as a Alklahin Center Qeft, and the area is
(under construction) the status of Nag Hammadi, and is rich in the province of
Qena, many of the tourist areas and archaeological sites, in Qena, and Qus, and
Naqada, and the Nag Hammadi and other archeological sites and these areas
lead to attract many tourists.
Chapter VI, the latter has revealed about the future status of the land
transport and the potential for economic development, which said four
elements dealt with (future planning for road - the future of road transport and
the potential for agricultural development - road transport and future planning
for industrial development - road transport and future planning for tourism
development). This chapter reveals that the future planning of land transport
sector in an integrated and covers all styles and keep pace with future needs of
the province, and is characterized by safety, effectiveness, efficiency and
technical development, and encourages and promotes economic development in
the governorate .
Interested in conservation planning for future industrial development of
rural industries and environmental and domestic and villages of graduates to
meet the basic needs of the community, and achieve a kind of balanced
development, and exploitation of raw materials available. And the placement of
future planning for tourism in the province of the amendment and
development depending on the variables that occur at the same place,
legislation and the evolution of thought tourism, according to the requirements
tourism planning that are affected by changing social and economic
development.
In conclusion, a conclusion the study included the most important
findings of the researcher. Was also the appendix to the study of some
supplements necessary for the completion of this research in addition to
Mathbt sources and references and studies that have been relied upon.
