Abstract
This study about Eliot’s Definition of the classic with Reference to a selection of his Poems so it contains an introduction with the aim of the study and the purpose of the subject, the method and its tools, related studies and researches.
- It also contains the classic in theory, The Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock, The waste Land, four Quartets.
- These milestone poems posed as appropriate candidates to undergo the analysis testing each for their possession of Eliotean classic features. and the question became, would Eliot’s widely acclaimed poems hold true to their maker’s theories and it ended with conclusion with results have been reached in this study.
