Abstract
The purpose of this study is to clarify the structure of taste buds of circumvallate papillae at young and old ages in some mammalian species representing three orders; rodent, lagomorph and carnivora(mice, rabbits & dogs). The effect of vitamin A administration on the taste buds will be examined. Apoptotic and Mitotic cells in taste buds will be morphometrically and statistically analyzed at different ages.
