Abstract

In this study, new linear regression equations were
developed based on the measurements of one thousand Egyptian
subjects (five hundred males and five hundred females). Their age
ranged from 18 to 22 years old with mean age 20 years, without
intermaxillary tooth size discrepancy, by using the mesiodistal
widths of the four permanent incisors and first molars for
prediction the mesiodistal tooth or combination of tooth widths of
mandibular and maxillary permanent canines, first premolar and
second premolar during the mixed dentition for a Egyptian
population.
