The study aims to identify the various tourism potential in An-naqaat Al Khams region and stating the importance of them and assessing the current situation there. Also the study aims to Describe the historical development of international tourism in Libya in general, and in An-naqaat Al Khams region in particular, and identify patterns and geographical origins, relevance and the problems they face. In order to Identify the general characteristics of the international and domestic tourism demand patterns and directions and their importance. and to illustrating the size and how closely the movement of supply and demand tenets of natural and human resources for the study area, and the relationships and the problems that arise as a result of that movement. And finally to Visualize the future of tourism and planning in the study area, in relation with the possibilities of natural, social and economic development of the country.
The study followed several research approaches which a reconsidered appropriate to the subject. study adopted in order to achieving its objectives several methods including objective, regional method, and historical approach and case study method, using a number of techniques, such as quantitative method analytical and descriptive method, and photography and cartography method, and finally statistical methods appropriate for the study.
