Abstract
All included 50 women were delivered by cesearian
sections where about 42 cases were delivered at term while 8
patients were delivered earliar ranging between 32- 35 wks as a
result of attack of antepatum hemorrhage. The median calculated
maternal blood loss was 2900.9 ml. Of the included 50 women,
23 (46%) had considerable intraoperative blood loss (≥ 1500 ml),
and 29 (58%) needed intraoperative blood transfusion.
