Abstract
A variety of functionalized bromopyrazole and pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives were achieved under remarkably mild conditions. The combination of good to excellent yields, a simple work-up, and the high compatibility of functional groups makes this an attractive synthetic approach to access heterocycles. Some of the synthesized compounds are screened for antimicrobial activity against Tetracycline and Amphotericin B as standards for comparison of antibacterial and antifungal activity respectively.
