Abstract

MSCs stem cells hold great promise for use in tissue repair and regeneration. the key characteristics of stormal stem cells include te ability to adhere to plastic to form fibroblasdtic-like colonies, extensive proliferative capacity, the ability to express several common cell surface antigens, and the ability to differentiate into several mesodermal lineages.
in this study we made biological comparison btween BMSCs and ADSCs, BMSCs isolated from eigh week old male sprague-dawley rat, then cultured in DNEM media +10%FBS+1% antibiotic antimycotic and expanded to passage 3. also ADSCs isolated from eight week old male sprague-dawley rat from inguinal fat pad and cultured in the same media for passage 3. flow cytometery analysis, CFU-F assay, PDT, growth curve and differentiation capability have done for both BMSCs and ADSCs, however, both cells have same immunophenotyping analysis for CD29,CD90 and CD45,ASDCs have more proliferation rate and colonogenic ability than BMSCs. both cells have ability for osteogenic differentiation however, BMSCs have more ability. on the otherhand although both types had adipogenic differentiation capacity this was more noticed in ADSCs.
in conclusion, ADSCs are promising type of mesenchymal stem cell, and that according to its high proliferation rate, colonogenic ability and differentaitation capability, also in clinical application, ADSCs are less invasive than BMSCs and number of cells which we can obtain are more.
