Many studies evaluated the increase prevalence of diabetes mellitus worldwide with its effect on the reproductive functions, such as impotence, reduced libido, semen alterations and sterility” The prostate is the main accessory gland of the mammalian male genital tract that is highly sensitive to hormonal disturbance and malignant transformation. So, it is important to study the effect of hormonal therapy with insulin and testosterone on the histological and immunohistochemical alterations induced by diabetes in ratoprostate gland.
