This research aim mainly to study the effectiveness of a pilot program aims to develop the time management skills with its various dimensions for students in the Faculty of Specific Education at the University of Kafr el-Sheikh
It is composed of 240 students divided into 125 student from the first year (13 students from Home Economics, 76 students specialized in education technology, 36 students specialized in education media ) and 115 fourth year student (4 students specialized in Home Economics, 76 students specialized in education technology, 35 students specialized in education media). The ages of the students range between 17and 21 years.
Research Tools
1 - General Data Form about the families of the study sample.
2 - a measure of time management.
3 - Indicative Programme.
Research Results
1 - There is no correlation between the variable of educational level of the mother and time management skills.
2 - There is correlation between the educational level of the father and ( goal setting skill - planning skills - organization skill – Total skills of time management).
3 - There is an association between the degrees (skill set goals - planning skills - organization skill - skill execution) and the different economic levels of students in the Faculty of Specific Education.
4 - There is no association between degree of skill assessment and the different economic levels of students in the Faculty of Specific Education.
5 - There are significant differences between the score means scores of time management skills obtained by students in the Faculty of Specific Education participated in pilot study sample before and after the application of the program in favor of the application after the study.
