Abstract Vanadates-Ceramics and their derivatives are widely used for electrical purposes and electronic circuits due to their unique electrical properties specially their use in electrical capacitors and internal component. We studied the effect of cation doping/substitutions on two different sites. The pure BhSrV209 and doped samples with general formula BhSrV2-xMx09, Bh_xNxSrV209 where, M = Zr, Mn,.N = Pb and x = 0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2,0.3, 0.6 mole. The materials were synthesized at high temperature solid state reaction and firing method. The X-ray diffractogram confirmed the formation of single phase layered perovskite with hexagonal form. The thermogravemetric (TGA) and differential thermal analyses (DTA) measurements were carried out on the green mixtures of pure and some selected doped samples. |
