الملخص باللغة الإنجليزية
The topic of the research is “Measuring the Effectiveness of the Promotional Mix of the Pharmaceutical Companies Operating in Egypt – Proposed Model” and it studies the promotional mix elements in general and particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, it explore the most important elements applied by the pharmaceutical companies with focusing on the companies who operates in Egypt. This study reviewed the marketing and promotional mix development stages in last few years through the review of the previous studies and concluding the optimal promotional mix. The research also reviewed the previous studies concerned of the promotional mix and its elements especially at pharmaceutical industry, focusing on the interaction between the pharmaceutical industry and both marketing and promotional mix in order to conclude the elements affecting this industry promotional mix.
Study also reviewed and evaluated some of promotional mix applied studies of the pharmaceutical industry. The study discussed the nature of the Egyptian pharmaceutical market, its size, and development.
The research finalized by the empirical study which was based on data gathered from physician, pharmaceutical sales force, and the patients concluding the proposed promotional model.
