Abstract
The current study was desigined and carried out to explore the force-frequency relationship at different temperature(10,15,25 and 30°C) in the catfish(Clarias gariepinus) ventricular tissue. The The participation of the transsarcolemmal Ca² flux via the the L-type Ca² channel and the SR-Ca² cycling in the initiating and the regulation of the cardiac contractions (twitch force, df/dt and -df/dt) at two stimulation frequencies(0.2 and 0.4 Hz) and also at two different temperature(20 and 0.4 Hz) and also at two different temperature.
