Abstract The aim of this study was to measure the fracture resistance and marginal accuracy of three unit zirconia bridge frameworks sintered by two different techniques (Conventional sintering technique and Microwave sintering technique). Materials and Methods: Ten samples were used and divided into two groups, each group consisted of five zirconia frameworks milled using CAD/CAM milling technique. The first group was sintered using a conventional sintering furnace, while the second group was sintered by microwave sintering furnace. Each group was evaluated for marginal accuracy using digital microscope at 40X magnification at different points on all aspects. Fracture resistance test was then applied to both groups using a Universal Testing Machine. |
