Abstract Home as the place of delivery still has the upper hand and is favoured by the majority of women especially in the developing countries. The aim of the present study is to find out the impact of home and hospital delivery on maternal and new born health during the first two weeks post natal. The field work was carried on two main groups of mothers. Group A mothers who delivered at home a sample size of one hundred mothers deliverdwithin 48 hours was taken. Home deliveries were chosen from talbia and giza centers. Two visits wee paid by the researcher for each mother. The first visit waspaid within 48 hours the second post-natal visit was conducted in the 2nd. |
