Abstract
Biliary complications are significant causes of morbidity and mortality after orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT), the estimated incidence ranges between 10%-25%, however, these numbers continue to decline due to improvement in surgical techniques. It is important to thoroughly know the detailed anatomy of the blood sup¬ply of the biliary system as bile duct ischemia is believed to be the major factor contributing to the development of biliary complications, including stricture or leakage after liver transplantation
