Abstract
Throughout the review of the pervious works in addition to the international codes, it has been found that the rules which consider to the effect of web openings on the behavior and strength of the steel beams are not simple. For this reason, the objective of this research is to deepen the understanding of the behavior of steel beams with web openings under the influence of static loads until their failure occur. These beams were the subject of many researches which took different parameters into consideration. These design . methods were found to be complicated or conservative. Thus, the methodology of this research depends mainly on an experimental events and theoretical analyses.
