Abstract
This thesis consisted of two parts (the text- the plates). Chapter one studied the rare scenes in the private tombs during the 11th dynasty. It included 28 rare scenes. Chapter two studied the rare scenes in the private tombs during the 12th dynasty. It included 23 rare scenes. Chapter three studied the rare scenes in the private tombs during the 18th dynasty. It included 101 rare scenes. Chapter four studied the rare scenes in the private tombs during the 19th dynasty. It included 56 rare scenes. Chapter five studied the rare scenes in the private tombs during the 20th dynasty. It included 34 rare scenes. The five chapters were followed by 23 recapitulative tables, and then the analysis which included analytical study to the themes which related to the study, finally the researcher supported the study with the main results in the conclusion.
