Abstract
The current thesis is divided into twostudies as apart of our ongoing project. First to identify the effect of natural product as anti-inflammatory agent using cyclooxygenase (cox-1 and cox-2), and structure elucidation of the bioactive isolated compounds.Second to discuss way of ticks control and the influence of essential oils as possible target for repellent, with emphasis on Egyptian plants traditionally used.
